Patricia A. Hunt Jacobs

Patricia graduated from Rice University in 1962 (on a full scholarship) taking her first job as a legal secretary in Houston TX. During that time Patricia owned an Austin Healy Sprite, and loved going to parties with friends.

Patricia left Texas, having discovered the glass ceiling and traveled around the country. She moved to Berkeley in March 1966.

She earned a MBA in business management and later became a residential real estate appraiser in the (California) East Bay, North Bay, and northern Central Valley.

Throughout her life Patricia had been searching for answers – and doing it the hard way.
 
All this while Patricia’s husband was growing up in Florida hunting game and running away from home on freight trains, going to war in Korea at 17 and afterwards setting tile for missile launches, writing pulp fiction, working on Mexican oil rigs, employment consulting to Texaco in the Virgin Islands and Saudi Arabia, truck driving, distributing flyers, bartending, selling disabled American veterans’ flags, then riding motorcycles and living on riverbanks.

Patricia and her husband have made a home on a half acre in Marysville, California, within God’s love.
